Microprojectors are extremely small and portable; some models weigh only a few ounces. With a microprojector you can create a quick review session, teach in a non-traditional space or add another projector to a classroom. Request one of the five different models in our loaner pool for faculty use in an undergraduate course. |

WordPress is a tool that makes it very easy to post and update materials on the web. It is different from Blackboard in that the sites are open to the entire world and students can post as well as instructors. WordPress sites may be used as a course or project website, a blogging platform, a multimedia curation site, a presentation tool, a student portfolio and more. This fall we will be piloting WordPress in 10-12 undergraduate courses. To learn more about the pilot, visit the pilot website: http://blogs-dev.oit.duke.edu You can also apply here. Click here to see the DDI TechExpo 2009 Wordpress MU Blog OIT is leading a parallel exploration of the WordPress MU pilot for non-instructional uses. Please contact Samantha Earp (ssearp@duke.edu) if you would like further information. |
